Participant profile

Eligibility

  • Only candidates from accredited or recognized schools in their countries of origin will be admitted.
  • Candidates from Bachelor's programs with an academic degree in Management, Technologies, Social Sciences, or other related fields are accepted;
  • Candidates must have at least five years of experience in functions relevant to their academic area, preferably executives, managers, and middle management who intend to improve or update their skills in leadership.
  • English language skills are required as some of the curricular units will be taught in English.

  • São aceites candidatos/as de programas de licenciatura com um grau académico em Gestão, Tecnologias, Ciências Sociais, ou outras áreas afins.
  • Os/as candidatos/as devem ter no mínimo cinco anos de experiência em funções relevantes para a sua área académica, preferencialmente executivos, dirigentes e quadros médios que pretendam melhorar ou atualizar as suas competências na área da liderança.
  • É necessário conhecimentos de língua inglesa, já que algumas das unidades curriculares serão lecionadas neste idioma.

Filipa Castanheira
Professor @Nova SBE

Filipa Castanheira is a Professor of Organizational Behavior. Filipa currently coordinates the Management & Organizations group and is the President of the Pedagogical Council at Nova SBE-UNL. She has a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Lisbon. Her research interests include human resource management, employment relationships, job design, and stress and well-being at work. She is the author or co-author of several papers in international Top journals such as Human Resource Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior , British Journal of Management, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Filipa teaches Leadership and Change Management at the Masters in Management, and Social Behavior and Exemplary Research in the PhD in Management. She was the former Director of the PhD in Management. Filipa is a member of the Academic Council of Executive Education and collaborates with several programs of Executive Education. She is the academic director of the Post-graduation degree in Programa de Gestão Aplicada, and Co-Director of the on-line Post-graduation degree in Management Program, the on-line post-graduation degree in Leadership and Team Management Program, as well as the Executive Master in Leadership.

Professor Management and Organizations @Nova SBE

PhD in Social and Organisational Psychology from ISCTE and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Delaware. Full Professor at Nova SBE, Academic Director of the Executive Master’s in Leadership, and lecturer on both bespoke and open executive education programmes at Nova SBE Executive Education. Author of over 40 articles published in renowned international journals. He is currently President-Elect of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) and Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Behavioural Science.

Recognizing the commitment this investment represents, we offer a phased payment option for private customers, split into four separate installments.
